I have a product key for Microsoft Office 2007 would this be

I know that you go to control panel and click uninstall a program. This worked fine on 2 of my 3 computers. However when I do this on the other one I get a Windows 7 Ultimate that says something about the setup procedure has been corrupted. Please insert CD or DVD of original source. So I did that and reinstalled with the Office Professional 2007 on there.I saw no options from the disc to uninstall. I want to remove it so I can put Office 2010 on this computer. Is there any other way to uninstall programs other than through the control panel?

I have a PC running Windows 7 Pro. I have two versions of Microsoft Office 2007 Professional installed, Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft 2010 Beta. I installed some add-ons to Microsoft, such as Office Tabs, but they only appear in the Microsoft Office 2007, since it is, I would assume, the default version of Microsoft Office, as it was installed prior to Microsoft Office 2010 Beta. How would I set the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta to become my default version of Microsoft Office, and thus have the add-ons appear in Microsoft Office 2010 Beta as well? I have tried to access and enable the add-ons in Microsoft Office 2010 Key eta, however, I cannot get them to work, though they appear in the lsit of add-ons.
