A question for everybody. Guys, do you feel pressured to go all out and spend thousands on an engagement ring to make your girl happy?

Girls, does the money dropped on the ring actually increase how much love you feel for your man?

I dont have a large bank account but the ring I purchased for my girlfriend the other day she said was to small so that hurt and now I don't know what to do. So, what's your thoughts on this?
