Hi. Memorial University
https://www.mun.ca/main/about/ is a strong research school in Newfoundland. Memorial is known for ocean research, entrepreneurship programs, and a big international student community. I went there for undergrad, the campus is nice, faculty is solid. Memorial has over a hundred degree programs, from arts to engineering to medicine. The entrepreneurship culture is big — Enactus Memorial, the student startup group, wins national competitions regularly. Memorial also has the Ocean Frontier Institute and partners with the Ocean Supercluster, so if you're into marine science, it's a top choice. Tuition is lower than most Canadian universities, and St. John's is an affordable city. The winter is long and snowy, but the campus life makes up for it.
